St. Mark Lutheran Church is a growing congregation of over 850 baptized members in Genesee Township in the suburban to rural northwestern corner of the Flint, Michigan metropolitan area. Founded in 1958 to serve the spiritual needs of people residing on the eastern side of the Flint, Michigan metropolitan area, has now reached beyond it's original boundaries with members coming from the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western regions of Genesee county, and also from the Lapeer county area. St. Mark is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.
Our parish is served by Pastor, Rev. Dr. Gary Beck, and Mr. Jim Mol, Minister of Outreach and Assimilation. There are many opportunities for participation and service. These include small group Bible Studies at church, in homes, and at restaurants. Also available is Evangelism, International Lutheran Women's Missionary League (ILWML), choir and music, as well as work with youth groups.

St. Mark is blessed to have as our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Gary Beck. Pastor Beck is a graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Prior to accepting the call to serve St. Mark, Pastor Beck was an Associate Pastor at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Macomb, Michigan. Pastor Beck has also authored two books.
Mr. Jim Mol came to St. Mark in 2000 as our Minister of Outreach and Assimilation. Jim is a graduate of Concordia University - Ann Arbor. He is a Lay Minister in the Lutheran church - Missouri Synod.
